SUNSET SWIMS
This is a painting I did of my siblings and me. I have been a painter since the 8th Grade and it's something I am passionate about. This painting is the beginning of a collection I'm starting that will be inspired by my summer vacations in Kennebunkport, Maine.

Creative process:
Firstly, I wrote down the colours I wanted for the water and the type of colouring I wanted for the scene, I chose sunset. When I paint I try to let my creativity flow without restricting myself. I created a very rough idea on paper of what I wanted.
​Creative Problem:
While working on this painting I began to be unmotivated. I eventually stopped painting and put it aside for a couple of days. This happens to me when I begin to think my work isn't coming out the way I want it to.

Solution:
The way I fix this problem is to leave it out of my mind and then come back, and make a list of what I want to fix. This is very helpful because you come back with a new perspective and I'm not so overly critical of myself. It allowed me to see the beauty of what I was creating and that it actually did look good.
